The sugarcane decaffeination process is solvent based utilizing ethyl acetate which consists of vinegar and a natural extract distilled from sugarcane. the simple and strait forward process first begins with the beans steamed to open the pores and then rinsed in the ethyl acetate repeatedly to strip away the caffeine, next they are dried to no less than 10-12% as they are then sealed in a natural wax that in no way affects the beans in terms of flavor fragrance and aroma
